Finally LaBron James plays in Cleveland. Over priced, over hyped basketball player returns to the city he scorned for millions. Big frickin’ deal. Who cares? But it’s all you hear about on radio and TV. It’s like the guy is the best player to ever play any sport. Sportscasters are pleading with the fans not to do anything stupid.

Well the bright side is only 13 more weeks until pitchers and catchers report for spring training!

Basketball only matters for a month out of the year. MARCH!! And even then the last two weeks of the tournament is worth watching. Go Gophers!!

I couldn’t agree more. College basketball has it all figured out!! College football blows. And the NBA

Glenn, you got the Blackhawks! Real athletes playing a real sport.

Saddest day when ESPN dumped the NHL. Tom Mee was a great hockey voice before he passed away.

Now we are forced a steady diet of NBA and Soccer of all things.

And FoxSportsNorth/Wisconsin makes me watch the Bucks even though the Badgers hockey team may be playing at home!!! I can understand when the hockey team is on the road, but not at home, so I have become a part-time gopher hockey fan when that happens. Friday nights are pretty cool though as there usually are two to as many as five college hockey matches on. Sat. night not so much.

College basketball is fastly become another travel destination like the NBA, the three step kind. Having DirectTv allows me to look at some of the plays over again and it is amazing how much coaches and fans want high school officials to call games similarily!!! Getting out of that game (officiating) after this season. Officiating is not calling the game by the rule(s) any more… just calling what an official thinks might impact the play, not good IMHO!!!
