Wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. We have much to be thankful for and enjoy your holiday. I’m starting early in the morning and doing all the cooking then going to chow down. Turkey, home made bread and buns and egg noodles. Plenty of leftovers for a few days. Have a good thanksgiving everyone.

November 25, 2010 at 12:07 pm #912266Ya Glen, the wife dosen’t like turkey noodle soup or I would, just going to flavor the broth for the noodles with the turkey wings and eat those chunks too. My noodles are about a 1/4″ thick and an inch wide by 12″ long, big and they soak up the flavor of the broth, mm mmmm good.

November 25, 2010 at 4:00 pm #912309Good one Steve, I’ve got the noodles made and drying. Made an apple and a banana coconut cream pie and thier done. I got yeast in the mixing bowl activating it. I’m makeing a loaf of bread, about a dozen buns and some cinnimon rolls with the left over dough. I made a rue from turkey wings, onions, celery and sage and put that over the broken up whole wheat dried bread for dressing and stuffed the turkey and its in the oven as I type. The house smells great and I got people walking back and fourth infront of the house that weren’t there earlier and I can hear thier stomachs growling lol, Im growing hungrier by the minute.
November 25, 2010 at 4:06 pm #912312WOOOOOO! Turkey is in the oven, Ham is ready to go in the next 10 or so, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green beans all ready to be tossed in the oven, soon the turkey will start making that beautiful aroma. Ahhhh going to be a pretty ok lunch….. At work, with a ready to go, toss in the oven meal, they got for us, overall a pretty nice deal. Though I did bring in an extra turkey breast, and the ham, to make sure we had enough for everyone to eat and have sandwiches.
Except I gottta wait til tonight to spend some time with the family
November 25, 2010 at 4:14 pm #912314Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow IDOer’s I hope all of you can spend time with family today. There’s nothing like family. And God Bless to all the people overseas that can’t be with family today. So we can enjoy our FREE COUNTRY here at home.
