Does anyone know if I can run a splitter of my Direct TV cable to another box? I know you can do it with cable, But reluctant to do it with the satilite cable.

A normal splitter like you would use for cable won’t work. You need a different type of splitter. I have one it is made by Terk. If you are running HD receivers then you need an even more expensive splitter. You can have mine if you don’t have HD. Just pay for shipping, or you can pick it up for free. Shoot me a PM if you want it. I will be at Everts tomorrow.

If you have Dish you should be able to get away with a normal splitter but if you have direct tv you need to get a switch as they call it. I know I used to work for King Controls the makers of the King Dome for motor homes and Ice fishing Shelters and such..
