I still laugh every time someone says “He should have been the Packers coach”!!!!!

Nice…….But too late IMO.
Never too early to start looking forward! Time to retire Favre and give the rest of the season to T Jac or Webb. Six games left to get one of these guys some experience. But, they need to make a decision on T Jac and soon. If he is not the guy….give Webb the rest of the season.

At least you know Frazier won’t have the azttachment to T-Jack that Chilly did.
That said, it should be T-Jack for the most part the rest of the way with Webb sprinkled in and hopefully increase his role through the rest of the season.
November 22, 2010 at 5:11 pm #911464Bring back Spurgin Winn!!(sp?) He was our starter for a while when Denny was canned right?? Boy o boy this feels a lot like that season doesn’t it?
arklite881southPosts: 5660November 22, 2010 at 5:43 pm #911473With all due respect to Webb…….I’m not sure Vikings fans have that much patience. I highly expect you’ll see another trade involving probably a troubled or prior injured QB sporting purple next season. It has been a longtime Vikings stamp. Randall C, Jim M.,Jeff G., Gus F., Warren M to name a FEW!! I also would count on a big trade taking place with a big name or two. Hopefully not as devastating as the Herschal Walker brainless move…….But maybe a reversal.
November 22, 2010 at 6:00 pm #911482I don’t think Mike Smith has to worry about his job next Monday no matter the outcome but that’s back to back games with two cooooaches the mighty green & gold have put the nail in. Wonder if any other team in NFL history has done that?

What a mess
Too many Primadonas
Good luck to him,
I think Fraizer would have liked to have been chosen head coach by an owner at the end of the year, and not by an owner who needs him in the middle of a #$%^&! up mess.
November 22, 2010 at 6:03 pm #911485I posted this in another thread but it still applies…………
Lets see, Joe Webb as a NFL quarterback………ummm?
Wasn’t T-Jack a div II quarterback that NOBODY thought could be a NFL starting quarterback? Now you wanna make a kid who was drafted as a wide receiver or d-back and make him a quarterback because Chilly hated Rosenfelds enough to make Webb a quarterback? If so we better get use to being beaten like a drum.Unless there is a complete overhaul I’m not sure Frazier is the long term answer either.

Maybe they will get a chance to oust Mike Singletary in a couple of weeks if he is not already gone by then.November 22, 2010 at 6:18 pm #911491should we think of the Pack as career enders? First the cowgirls, now the queen’s, who else do they need to help out?
November 22, 2010 at 6:25 pm #911495Does anybody else think the Vikings threw the game yesterday ????

Frazier definately not the long term answer. New ownership is. The only thing Frazier has going for him is there is no way but UP to go.
It will be interesting what happens in March with collective bargaining but it wouldn’t come as a total surprise to see the Queens make a move in April to draft Cam Newton ~ especially if they fail to pick up another a win or two in the reamining 6 games this season.

Throw the game? No.
Give 110% effort. No on that as well.November 22, 2010 at 6:54 pm #911504“too many primadonas” This is dead on and has been for years with the vikings. I think they need to get rid of that roof and get their home field advantage back and find some team guys. Then maybe 5 years from now after the Lions have their turn to be second in the north, the vikings can have their turn.

I don’t understand your remark about new ownership. You can say whatever you want about the Viking team but you sure can’t question the commitment of ownership!!
Cam Newton will be better served as a tight end in the NFL then a quarterback in my opinion. Most likely you won’t remember a guy named Joe Kapp or even Bobby Douglas of the Bears. Same type of guy’s as Newton. Newton is a very athletic person who happens to play quarterback on a very, very good team. He is not a great quarterback on an very good team, big difference.

Can’t say I know much about Webb, but I don’t think T-jac is the answer……but who knows at this point. All I know is somethings got to change….and Childress was the first step in that.
So, can we get anything for Berrian’s worthless ?
