Let Favre start the next five games and let him play a little bit. Then you play Webb for the majority of the game. Favre gets his 300 consecutive starts, we get to see what Webb can do, Jackson can sit there and wonder (we already know what he does). The season is toast so why not start thinking about the future?

They have like 12 unrestricted free agents after this year too. Time to start rebuilding..

Agree on Webb. Would like to see a lot more of him. No reason he should not have started the 4th quarter today.

Believe it or not I think Troy actually brought up THE true storyline of the Minnesota Vikings in 2010 during the telecast. Despite the Favre/Chili drama the Minnesota Vikings organization made a high dollar bid in attempts to motivate Minnesota fans to help fund a desperately needed stadium. With last years last minute interception I believe the “ZIGSTER” felt like the Vikes could make another run at the Superbowl hopefully paving the way for a new Stadium. Now with “Purple Pride” in the midst of undeniable turmoil the chances of winning over the general public with a new stadium deal appears to be at a all-time LOW. I expect the conversations will quickly by-pass the blunders of Favre and Chili (Which they should), and quickly on whether Minnesota Vikings can find the support to stay……..in the land of 10,000 lakes. Ughhhhhh what a tough season for Minnesota fans! GO T-Wolves

That was truly ugly football only the Minnesota gophers football team can truly understand. On the otherhand hats off to Green Bay for kicking the tar out of our floundering Vikings.

Lets hit the ice!! I’m going to put the wood to some fish!!

The Minnesota Highway Patrol is cracking down on speeders heading into Minneapolis. For the first offense, they give you 2 Vikings tickets. If you get stopped a second time, they make you use them.

    Q. What do you call 47 millionaires around a TV watching the Super Bowl?

    A. The Minnesota Vikings

    Q. What do the Vikings and Billy Graham have in common?

    A. They both can make 70,000 people stand up and yell “Jesus Christ”.

    Q. How do you keep a Minnesota Viking out of your yard?

    A. Put up a goal post.

    Q. What do you call a Minnesota Viking with a Super Bowl ring?

    A. An Imposter.

    Q. What’s the difference between the Minnesota Viking and a dollar bill?

    A. You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.

    Q. How many Minnesota Vikings does it take to win a Super Bowl?

    A. Nobody Knows

    Q. What do the Vikings and a possums have in common?

    A. Both play dead at home and get killed on the road!

It’s awfully scary to think we are now at the point where the Gophers might be our best football team

I heard on the radio the other day… the Stadium is a done deal in the 2012 legislature. The lobbyists have it all taken care of.

In other news, the 2010 Viking season is over… I had a nice nap this afternoon

Last week I spent Sunday fishing with my son on Pool 4.

This Sunday I spent the day fishing on Pool 4 with a friend.

Don’t blame me for the Vikings loosing! I guess I’m officially off the band wagon.

The Vikings are truely the laughing stock of the entire NFL.
    THIS doesn’t help either….

That would be just another example of failure to execute. The Vikes just had dopey mistake after dopey mistake all season long. By themselves no big deal. Add them all together and you are 3-7.

I had to stay home today. If I would have had something better to do than watch that train wreck I would have been doing it…… The T-Wolves are definetly better this year.

I wonder how different things would have turned out if the V Schainco TD wasnt overturned vs GB and their bobbled TD was correctly called and we go into the half up 24-10.

Yeah, the bobble was Chilly’s fault. But V’s TD was ruled a TD and overturned. That one just floored me. At least 3-4 times since I have seen an incomplete pass ruled a catch under less clear cases. Clearly “the fix” was on.

In a sport where momentum is so key, we didnt lose to the Pack yesterday, we lost the season a few weeks ago on some really bad calls.

At least now we can get a good draft pick and the Pack will be one and out IF they make the playoffs.

Doesn’t change the fact that these are paid professionals. No excuses, they are really bad this year. Can’t sugar coat it. Can’t “spin” it. they suck.

Lets see, Joe Webb as a NFL quarterback………ummm?
Wasn’t T-Jack a div II quarterback that NOBODY thought could be a NFL starting quarterback? Now you wanna make a kid who was drafted as a wide receiver or d-back and make him a quarterback because Chilly hated Rosenfelds enough to make Webb a quarterback? If so we better get use to being beaten like a drum.

I’ll wish the Packers good luck only because I think the Bears are even worse then the Vikings.

Maybe you can get Jesse “the body” to do a report on his TV show “The Conspiracy Theory”.
