Mine tumbled down the steps (just 3) this morning going to the yard too. I almost fell after him.

Probably just stay put today. Yuck!

Same in SD. Lab slipped on driveway. Looks like a great day to get all my ice gear ready and watch the Packers win.

OK I just went outside and my gravel driveway is as slippery as a slip and slide, it is no joke out there

Dog had a rough walk this morning. I wiped out on our steps–ice cleats in hand

Nothing in my neck of the woods.
A bit soggy, but no ice.
From the looks of things we didn’t dip below freezing last night.

The roads are really bad in the Hudson area. Against better judgement I decided to drive to my hunting area and watched a big county plow truck do a 360 and end up in the ditch He finally got out and proceeded to go down the road backward to keep the sand in front of him and under his tires…I turned around and went home

Made it the 4 miles to work and watched one car sail though a stop sign, bounce off a curb and continue speeding down the street, and yes cell phone in her hand, seen another service van in the ditch on 62 crosstown and watched some guy in a caddy bounce off the guard rail and then slow down…made it to work though, pretty slow going.

We drove from Owatonna to Oakdale last night starting at 11 pm. 3 hours later we arrived home. This is normally a 1 hour and 15 minute drive. 35 W was a nightmare. Cars couldn’t get traction at all north of the 35 E split. They were bouncing off each other like pinballs. We sat in this area for about an hour in stop and go traffic. Another really bad spot was north of the Wakota Bridge. Luckily that area was salted, but some vehicles still couldn’t make it up the hill. It was a huge relief just to make it home last night.

Yuck. Nothing worse that driving white knuckled for hours like that. I need to run out to get a new reference monitor but I’m thinking I’ll sit tight after reading this thread.

Since I can’t get out to go anywhere, I decided to go to the shop for some long needed boat tinkering. After seeing what Jesse said about his gravel driveway, I think I’ll just sit here and watch infomercials. These old bones don’t bounce so well anymore. jerr

We’re at 35 degrees and a light drizzle here in Richester. getting to church and back wasn’t an issue, but I imagine that once one gets in the cooler open air of the country things change. I have nothing to get out again for so this old man is staying inside.

First, glad tyo hear your son is OK basser.

I am a night owl and it was starting to ice up last night at around midnight. We have to go through the gate when letting the dogs out, so I made sure I shut it when we went in. I could see them getting hurt trying to dash down 2 steps and across the walk and patio to get into the backyard to chase any varmints.
