Pool 4 Lost and Found

I pulled this from the depths of pool 4 yesterday afternoon with my anchor. It had no less than 10,000 jigs, 3000 blade baits, and even a few big circle hooks. If you have lost any tackle to this log you can claim it at Everts. Oh and it also had an anchor and rope attached.

If that was on the minnesota side up by the dam, then about 50 of those bladebaits are mine

I’ll just be glad if that was the snag and it’s gone.

Wow…..that should be dried out and hung up in the baitshop!

Maybe we could do the same w/ Bk.

That is not the “pitching pole” up in the corner. I spose there could be two…but I’m thinking that came from another location.

    What a catch!

Tom…careful, I’m taking your wife fishing.

I’d say have a garage sale at Everts and all the proceeds go towards filling the cookie jar at the bait shop!

Did those kids come with it?

Wow. That is a log. surprised there is not fish attached to it to. A buddy of mine has a water spike and rope up by the dam. Im sure its doing its fair job of collecting lures.

Can you tell me more about the anchor?

Almost none of the tackle was salvageable. It is amazing how fast the hooks corrode and “dissolve”, jigs and blade baits that looked brand new were completely missing hooks.

Dean claimed the anchor as one of the rental boat anchors lost a few weeks ago.

WHat’s with all those purple worms? I don’t fish down there but that must be some kind of magic bait?

My anchor got tangled in the other anchor rope. I could pull my anchor almost to the surface then it would just stop so i figured I was on some sort of rope or cable. Being the cheap [censored] that I am and not wanting to lose my anchor I tied it off to the back of the boat and “floored it”! CRACK and up she came.

Looks like a “CUSS” log to me

I recognize about 25 of those blade baits and 90+ yards of Trilene (green)
