Got up at 4 am, looked out the window. SWEET! Snow on the ground. Going to be a great day on the water. hooked up the boat. jumped in my truck and started to pull out of the drive way and noticed the snow had turned to rain, and not just a lite rain, big heavy drops just waitnig to run down the back of your neck 
. Checked the radar, gonna rain all day. Thank you mother nature for another fine fall saturday!
Left for work at 3 am and it was slick as heck.Still wish I was going fishing instead of working.
Make the best of it, you only have so many opportunity’s to fish in a rain snow mixture in a lifetime. Could be the day of your life and it only takes one!
Gonna be a Sno Suit day for me!
Good luck to you guys getting out. Im wishing I would of got those new tires on the truck last week. Guess Im grounded today and there is even a boat still hooked to the truck.
Some of the folks coming in have quite a bit of snow on their trucks…..Just slush here.
One customer drove here from Millacs, fished all last nite, and now out pitching plastic on the river….Oh I can only remember those days! 
Wow. Thats hard core Dean. The good thing is those guys that are getting out and braving the elements should have a decent bite to greet them.
Got that right Mike…I can only remember when I used to be able to pull that off! Actually, if you can get out of the wind,and there are some good spots to do that, it is a very fishy day.Amazing how bad weather is soon forgot when ya make a hook-set!

Looks like things are clearing up today. Too bad the girlfriend gave me a one time pass to go down to the river today and i used it up at 4am when i decided to wait out the rain. looks like a great day to be on the water.
Early reports show some nice white tips & saugers coming in…small profile plastics a nose over bucktails & blades.
hope the bite will hold untill tommarrow. Water will be on the rise once again im sure. Keep us posted dean.
