    Lowrance LMS-520c GPS/Fishfinder – New in Box – $275 or Best Offer

This is what someone at work is looking to sell, and it is something I am certainly interested in. Any opinions on the quality of this unit? Seems to be a good price to me.

    Thanks for any info!

That appears to be a very fair price if everything is working. You need to make sure it has GPS antenna. Does it come with transducer? This unit has Ethernet cpability so if you ever added a HDS unit you would be able to get broadband sonar on the 520. Heck, for $275.00 or B/O I would buy it to just have in my truck for mapping while driving across the hard water. IMHO. A good buy

I have two on my boat. Both are connected to the GPS antenna.

I have a 522 and love it. Like the others have said make sure it has the GPS puck, transducer, and all the wiring. Seems like a good price if indeed it is brand new.

The 520 has an internal antenna. The 522 is external antenna. (Edit- 522 is internal, sorry)

I have one I used as combo for a year till I got a x17 and now as my gps.

It is not as powerful (obviousley) but I works well. No issues yet but I haven’t done upgrades, seems like that causes issues to me.

Its a good price if working and has wireing and ducer. New was $500 range.

That’s a steal, if you don’t buy it, I would gladly.

People are asking $500 for those without GPS pucks on Craigslist (and they are nuts but it’s the going asking price).
