Yep. 115 is max hp for that boat. I guess if I only get a few more mph it’s not really worth the money. 38 to 42 mph isnt that much of a difference

    SteveO,
I was going to say another benefit of going with the 115 Merc was if you go with a Merc, you won’t have to worry about anyone trying to steal it. Then I reread your post and saw that you already have a Merc. Sorry buddy.

A little food for your thoughts here Steve, ask yourselve why you want that 4 to 8 more gps per mile at that kind of additional cost. I have a 115 hp Merc on a 19 ft Sylvan and i can get 45 to 46 mph by myselve and about 41 to 42 with other passengers. At 45 mph I’m flying and don’t feel comfertable so for the most part ( and especially ) with passengers I am doing about 35 to 38 mph and that is fine and dandy as it gets me across a big lake or up the river where I’m head’en about the same time and I’m comfertable with that speed.

    FWIW just my 2 cents

I would be looking at about 5 grand plus my motor to get into a 115. Think i will save the money and be satisfied with what I have
