    i’m up there right now, and the waves were so severe, it was literally throwing basketball size boulders, and large logs onto the road. they had the plows out to clean off the debris.

    i’ve run into 3 roads closed due to be under water due to the wind.

    That’s incredible. I’ve been in that very spot on the water several times. It was even rough enough once that we couldn’t get under the bridge by the casino and had to change our plans. That day the waves were half as big as the waves in the video.

    that looked like the Bonzai pipeline.. I didn’t realize they had a national surfing competition in the Upper Midwest.. that surf was for professionals only..
