I went for you then. A buddy and I headed out to the Cedar in Cedar Falls and caught a couple of nice Crappies while searching for eyes. We decided enough was enough around 9:30. So Happy Birthday anyway!

One day I was sitting in a resort looking out at the lake contemplating wether to go fishing when the bar keep says ” You cant always be a fair weather fisherman ” that day and ever since that day I fish rain, wind or shine

    Happy Birthday

I’ve fished in some pretty nasty stuff, but I can’t think of anywhere I could effectively fish in a 50+ MPH wind.

    Happy Birthday!!

The wind is awful. We lost the top of one of our big pine trees last night. The good news is that it didn’t hit anything.

BTW – I also like the extra work it is causing. Busy work, but work is work!

Looks like the wind hit em before they sealed down?

I always question a roof put on just before freeze up

Bret, that roof is 11 years old. They have had it repaired before by “Handyman” type services and every couple years it gets ripped open again. Finally, they called me today so it would be done right. Roof is only good as its’ weakest glue tabs in these types of winds. Also, its greater than a 12/12 pitch roof which can make the winds worse as they get an up-lift on that steep plane.

Wow..the felt paper below looks as black as new. And I agree, a chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link!
