What a great weekend of football. Starting out with a Badger victory and then end the weekend with a Packer win. Or should we call it a viking loss?

Now add in the post game interviews.. No doubt Favre needs to have his butt chewed, but for Chili to unload on him during his post game interview was unbelievable.

Did anyone else notice a severe case of aligator arms on that last play of the game? I don’t know what was more impressive… the 2 inch vertical leap or the unbelievable arm extension. Way to go Randy.

He got knocked out of bounds even without the ball in his hands. Way to go Pack and kudos to the pass blocking.

    Good game?
Good game to watch, it was not a good game though, neither team showed anything that was super bowl worthy.

    Farve and kudo’s?
Maybe for a illustrious career, but not for this game, he played like a third string back up quarterback, his time is past, especially if this is all he’s gonna be able to do.

Put him in the hall of fame, and out to pasture, he’s not doing the team any good playing like this, records don’t mean much unless they come with wins.

With all that, it was a fun game to watch, and I can’t wait till they play again…ought to be interesting.

    Chilly is blaming Farve?
    Good grief…..

I didn’t catch the Chili interview. My guess is he is using that mind trick Lombardi used to employ.

Here it is. He knew everyone (fans/media) was going to come out and blame and bash Favre and yet he is still beloved in the clubhouse. By Chili coming out and ripping him, he turns into the bad guy and shifts the negativity onto himself. This guy is brilliant.

Not sure what he said, but this game was clearly Favre’s fault, aside from the coaching. But you know the coaching isn’t going to change and the guys should be playing within that handicap. The deal is Favre in all his years in the NFL still has not realized that he cannot will a complete pass. If you are getting hit or panicking, maybe the best thing to do would be to hold onto the ball.

It’s pretty obvious by now that this team is not going to be able to protect him like they did last year. And that means more turnovers. And that means this team is not going to turn it around. It’ll be fun having Rice and Moss out there and watching that, but they dug too deep a hole and I don’t see how they make the playoffs.

That is unless the offensive line some how becomes a brick wall from here on out. I love Favre when he has time. Even if he has time because of all the coverage down field, he still seems to find a guy or put the ball where only the receiver can get it. But a pressured Favre is mediocre at best and a turnover machine at worst.

I can’t believe after that great show those two teams put on, the classless fans still had the urge to Boo like that toward a legend who puts his heart into every game.

mmm, yea, you must have missed Brent’s tearful retirement news conference a couple years ago, and perhaps a few comments he threw out last year to the Packer Fans….

Unfortunately, Bret has proved to be no better as a moral human than the likes of tiger woods. These guys lose total perspective of their obligation as a role model. I respect Favre as an awesome quarterback but his personal failure has created a very poor outlook on him as a family man and ethical Role model. He will go down for his behavior. None of these high paid entertainers are above the law!!!

Lets not forget Harvin was one foot away from an entirely different ending. Farve made the pass, just like last year against the pack. Green Bay would have an entirely different tune today after 4 losses in a row. You guys would be lighting up A-sack’s performance and asking for McCarthy’s head just like last year. I agree, should be a fun re-match at the dome. After seeing Cutler’s performance yesterday, Ill take a 41 year old wreckless slinger just for the pure drama it unleashes. The best part is I can watch them all in 45 min when I get back from going after the big ski’s. DVR – Best invention ever.

    The Queens LOST!!!!!

10 years from now when this “experiment” is long forgotten, he will be welcomed back to GB with open arms and number retired.

The real question with that is….. Will Brett accept the invitation. I think the clowns BOOOOing him last night sealed the deal in his decision to go into the hall as a Viking. Hey, It’s only 5 years from this spring and I doubt he’ll forget the losers in the stands last night..Not to mention everything else the embracing state of WI has done for him in the past 4 years. Just sayin’

It’s just amazing to me how hated Bert was in “the Queen Cities” a few years back and now how beloved he is because he gave you a glimmer of hope for a Superbowl “win”. Those “clowns” booing him were probably expressing distase to what Bert has become since he left Green Bay. Maybe there’s something in the water in Minnesota……ie. Dante and the “love boat”, Denny Green and his domestic issues and now “Beer Fart” with his penchant for emailing “tallywhacker” pics. Let him go in as a Viking…. I’m just curious which “head” will be depicted in his bronzing

The most sacked quarterback in the NFL, and the Vikes D can’t get him to the grass once? That hurts. Especially, for how wildly Rodgers was throwing the ball. A few nock downs or some pressure could have helped out a bit.

Maybe last year but not this season. The Packers O-line has been very good this year. Cutler has been sacked 27 times this year, he’s the most sacked QB.

How close did the mullet headed hillbilly get to Rodgers last night?

I always get so confused, but I thought Brent made the decision to walk away from the Packers with the best acting job of all time at his retirement news conference, not to mention 2 visits to his home town where he confirmed his retirement when the Packers visited him when the waffling started in earnest.

Let’s be honest, he could have played as long as he wanted in GB, but he wanted out. He also wanted to look good on the way out and choose where he still wanted to play, but that is the rub as they say.

By the way, Peterson is in his last year of the contract, what if he asked to be traded to the Packers who will give him a new contract the second he walks in the door and see how well that goes over here in Viking land…

I’ll times this by 2 or better

Pug….you and I have to spend a day together in a boat, on a bank, or on ice My treat

As a Packer fan…..Boo Hoo Favre, I’m glad as a packer fan we moved on without him, not that we are playing superb ball at all right now

If I were a Vike’s fan…..I’d be saying What the chit is going on

Bad calls did not loose this game. I pray Rodgers, Receivers and, Tight ends are practicing running routes before the next game

I think as a Vike fan I would be happy to loose that game only by 4 points….I have cried as a Packer fan the last two games in OT

I always get so confused, when Packer fans think Brett owes them anything. So he went and played for different teams…. so what. So he cried and said he was retireing…. so what. So he woke up and decided he still felt like playing and didn’t like something about the organization… so what. Maybe it was becaused they wouldn’t let him run wild and run the show – who knows, WHO CARES. He is not your friend, your brother, your aquaintance…. he is not even from Wisconsin. He gave you Packer fans everything that you ever asked for, put Wisconsin on the map for something other than cheese… And you all boo him for un-retireing or whatever. Great atheletes change teams all the time. Deal with it, it’s part of the game! You can have Peterson, maybe he can fumble away a title for you. It is just entertainment, they are all overpaid and most of them are A-holes off the field. I do rememeber a certain tight end from Wisconsin who likes hot tubes with high school girls. My only point was, for 41 years of age to be able to even compete with kids half his age trying to take his head off, you have to admire the ability to put butts in the seats and make it a close game. Then again, I don’t take profesional sports personally. I get to watch my baseball team clinch the division every year to get swept by the Yankees. I’m going to go back to watching my crappy Wild team lose again. Peace out!

The word “fan” comes from the word “fanatical” Packer fans are certainly that. I dont see any problem with Packer fans who put down there hard earned money and boo Favre. Thank you Brett for all you did but now you are playing for our #1 rival and trying to ruin our season again though you might not be quite as vindictive as last year when you enjoyed rubbing our face in it, we as fans enjoyed handing it back to you yesterday and I for one loved it. When Brett’s number is retired and they roll him into Lambeau in his wheel chair he will get the loudest, longest standing ovation ever. And he will once again be a Packer until that time comes he is the enemy quarterback coming into enemy territory

20 tears from now he will be seating in a suite watching the game same as Bart Star did. Only he will have a bunch more money. Legacy will be the same. Hornung gambled the same as Pete Rose and all is forgotten in Packerland.

Favre will be forgotten as fast as Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski.

I have no relationship with him. He went to my school 2 or 3 years before me. I guarantee you I am a polar opposite if him politically. Now if we can figure out what Bret is, we might all get along. Or better yet, just fish.

If I can fish in the same boat with my one brother, with the other 2 trying to egg us into a political “discussion”, I think I can tolerate anything.

He should have gotten thrown under the bus. Do you think he took care of the ball well during that game? Maybe he was exempt from criticism in GB but not here.

And to answer your question. Not so warm reception/departure??????? They BOOOOed him every chance they got. Including when he’s walking off the field after laying it all out there (That he did SO many times for those SAME FANS) with a broken ankle. Real CLASSY fans ya got there bro!
