My Hawkeyes didn’t get it done this weekend, but at least the Packers held off Minnesota!! Way to go Packers on one heck of a close game and a great win!! Not too bad either Badgers, but I’m much happier about this one!!

That was one of the best games I have seen all year!!
Definitely a nail biter.
October 25, 2010 at 3:26 am #905875neither qb took control of the game, glad Brent went out in style and didn’t let the int’s get the best of him. Mathews on 7 cylinders looks pretty good.

Nothing like home field advantage.

care to elaborate? can’t both coaches throw a red flaggy things? or are you saying they took chili’s away?
October 25, 2010 at 3:39 am #905883One of the best games thus far this season in the NFL but also one of the most poorly officiated ~ BOTH WAYS!

Nobody gets to play the victim on this one as it went both ways but that WAS horrible officiating. Bad.
October 25, 2010 at 3:44 am #905886Hate to see Favre go out of Lambeau a gimpy has been. He played horribly. Had to happen sometime, I guess.

Agreed, both ways.
bigpikePosts: 6259October 25, 2010 at 4:27 am #905891Didnt get to watch, had to listen on the radio but with the depleted Packers D-line I am amazed that the Vikings with AP could not win this game. I mean they had a O-lineman playing D-line on certain plays…
October 25, 2010 at 11:44 am #905901Brett has to be hurting this morning. Ouch!!! An edge of the seat game for sure.
October 25, 2010 at 11:50 am #905904I can’t believe after that great show those two teams put on, the classless fans still had the urge to Boo like that toward a legend who puts his heart into every game.
targamanInactiveWilton, WIPosts: 2759October 25, 2010 at 12:00 pm #905908I can’t believe how the vikings brilliant coach had the balls to bash Brett and blame the loss on him in a press conference. It might of been his fault but is that what a coach is suppose to do? Chilli is a [censored]!
October 25, 2010 at 12:00 pm #905909Don’t want to get in a Favre debate so i won’t. Randy Moss had 3 catches thirty yards. I’m thinking the Vikings were expecting more from him.
October 25, 2010 at 12:18 pm #905912Wow… what a game! Had to listen to the first half driving back to MI from WI but watched the second half. I’ll watching the first half tonight! (thank you, DVR!!!).

The sign of a great manager is knowing your staff and how to motivate them. Anyone care to remember how well #4 is motivated by coaches publicly bashing him?? Ya, Childress is terrible in my opinion.
Overall, our D & O lines looked horrible once again last night. I don’t see us getting any better either. Gonna be a long season here in Mn. We are lucky Rodgers’ mind was somewhere else last night. I don’t recall seeing him ever make that many terrible throws.
Congrats to the Pack!
October 25, 2010 at 12:33 pm #905916The most sacked quarterback in the NFL, and the Vikes D can’t get him to the grass once? That hurts. Especially, for how wildly Rodgers was throwing the ball. A few nock downs or some pressure could have helped out a bit.
The way this division is playing, I have a feeling we will be waiting until week 16 to see who is going to the playoffs and who is not.
October 25, 2010 at 12:53 pm #905923I kept losing my dishnetwork signal from local stations for most of the second half. I am about to fire them. I’d rather see Farve limp off the field than be carried off. There is no way he makes it through the next few games without getting run over by someone. Since the season is over they should benc…err rest him.
October 25, 2010 at 1:48 pm #905938Big win for the Pack!
This might be the momentum GB is looking for. Slowly getting key players back, Mathews getting healthy. Things are looking better. Rogers and co.better get on the same page in a hurry though. Terrible communication last night
The Vikes are on a sinking ship but one things for sure, Favre will be at the helm when it goes down, not Childress. Favre has more game in his little pinkie than Chilly could ever have. You bet Chilly, bash your star and his decision making after a loss but never suggest how you failed as a coach. No respect for that twerp
Another incredible, gutzy performance by no.4 He should be proud of the way he left Lambeau, not because of the 3 picks (thanks by the way) but for showing the Packer and Vikes fans, and the entire league, how to give it everything and leave it all on the field. We would never expect anything less.
The man is an animal and will be missed in this household when he hangs em upWay to go Pack!

You do know that he has “turned over to the darkside”!!!! First rule of “cheesehead”……always boo “anyone” from the Evil Empire”
October 25, 2010 at 2:09 pm #905942Looks like Chilly’s deal with the devil is not working out so well. Favre was the old Favre, Moss was lazy unless the play was coming to him, coaching was horrible-rather than putting in TJack, he bowed to the Favre. Yup, he almost pulled it off, but if he would have just played “the game plan”, there would have been no need. Now Chilly is blaming his QB for the loss. Implosion anyone????
On the other hand, the Pack’s play calling stunk and Rogers made some very bad decisions, esp. on 3rd down.
But, in the end, good triumphed over evil. (hey it’s halloween).Go Pack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 25, 2010 at 2:23 pm #905947Great game. Vikes lost another one all on their own.. That makes 4 on the year.
Chilli ripping Favre is exactly what he SHOULD have done 3 games ago. I am a Favre fan and truely believe we are better with him in compared to our options. BUT, No sacred cow is safe in the NFL. And as mentioned earlier, take a look at what Favre has done in the past when questioned by a coach or organization. I’m hoping something good comes from this.
IF we can beat NE next week we’re right in the mix. And my prediction is that Favre will be the NFL’s second half MVP!!!
