OK guys, I keep hearing everyone is going to that funny named lake up north this weekend for the Full Moon bite. Does that mean I am going to have Pool 4 all to myself. I am thinking the Full Moon may even affect our river fish and the bite this weekend may take off. Does the full moon affect the river bite and who will be on Pool 4 this weekend? Inquiring minds want to know!! I heard a rumor that Pool 4 is a BK free zone this weekend so it may be a nice mellow weekend pulling in hogs!

Mike, I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but since there isn’t a fish passage way around L&D #3, there isn’t any fish in P3.

As much as I’d love to get up there this weekend and teach you guys a thing or two,I’m going to be handing out free lessons on Pool 11 at Guttenberg. My next scheduled appearance on Pool 4 should be Halloween weekend. Good luck Redneck and keep us posted on the bite!

Anyone know what the river temp is up there? I would like to fish past dark. Don’t plan on running all out. Is there a bunch of big things still coming down river?

    Thanks,

59 the other day. Might be 58 by now.

With the water dropping and the dam gates down, there is less risk of logs…but as always, be careful out there.

PS Did Jesse say there was a night bite?

Check out Dean’s OVER stock of headlamps!

Brightest white light I’ve found with replaceable batteries. Light weight too. $15.

    They sell themselves!

    BK,

Do they need to clip onto a hat? And what kind of batteries are we talking about?

    The batteries are CR2032’s. I bought a 10 pack for $8 this spring…I still have 8 left.

Yes it clips on a hat. I’ve put two of these through the wringer this year.

Careful when you try the one on Dean’s counter. The dang thing will blind you!
