Just got off the phone with John. He was pulling up to meet a friend and have breakfast. After breakfast John and friend are assaulting the North Georgia Mountains after huge bows like the photo above from John’s trip there last fall. John informed me that this stretch is know for having the state record bow caught in it.
Well, it is football season. 
Looks like some cool scenery to be fishing in.

First 14 casts….14 bows to hand and all over 5 pounds.
John was using small stuff most of the outing.
Beautiful fish! Fly fishing or hardware? These ‘plump’ fish remind me of those bows out near Thermopolis, Wyo, where the hot springs keep the water moderate even in the winter and the ‘bugs’ going all year round. They put on tremendous growth, and look look these ‘footballs’…Good fishing 
My fave boss of last 30 years just moved out to Toccoa sp? I see a visit coming. Nice trout.
Man that is some awesome scenery. Nice fish also but that cabin in the background is my idea of heaven
