If it was trully a suicide pact, I just don’t understand it. Life can seldom get that bad such that is the only answer.

Interesting the press is starting to report these suicides. (These typically don’t make the local news.) If you do a little digging, happens pretty much every week in the metro.

That was across the road and North a ways. Drug related if I recall.

This was in a park behind the strip mall.

Depression can lead to crazy ideas, that to the person seem completely reasonable.

It’s not like it was murder. Two crazies did themselves. That doesnt make the area unsafe.

Yeah, Brian, it does hit kinda close to home. Quiet family neighborhood across old Hwy 95 (18) from Hudson bridge and just a block or two from the garage where all those girl scout cookies disappeared (no connection insinuated). My brother in law and I poured footing for a memorial bench in that park back in 2006 and the local garden club maintains the place. There’s a foster home a couple blocks down the street. Next time you get a chance to take a kid fishing, remember this week. Condolences to parents, relatives, friends and classmates.

Apparently no one ever took those kids fishing.
