I have to say, that because I have been very sick, I stooped down and turned on the heat this weekend.. I was hoping to make it into the middle if not the end of the month.. but I believe I have broncitus and a possible touch of pnuenmonia..

who else turned on their heat?

Same here. I LOVE those cold breezes coming through the bedroom window at night.

I believe you have the same thing as me and many others!! ITS NASTY!! I am going on 3 weeks now of deep lung cold, it cost me at least one shot at a fat doe so far but yes I turned the heat on abou 2 weeks ago when my son(13months got the ame cold) and have it dialed down to about 67, but keep the bedroom doors closed with the window open!!

No heat yet. Decided to open window part way rather than half of the way. We usually try to make it till the mid of november!!

Good thing to do, I work in HVAC and you can’t believe all the calls we get from people that first cold snap.

Yeah, heats on to take the chill out and then shut off again till the next time she’s chilled.

Just turned on the gas fireplace so wife can take off the chill in the house when needed. Gave the furnace a test run last weekend but will try to hold off using it as long as possible!

Yup have had ours on for the last 3 weeks, pretty cold at night up here. The wife put the flanel sheets on the first of September. This week is suppose to be in the 60’s but still down in the low 30’s at night. Sunday morning I woke up to duck hunt and walked outside to a balmy 26 degrees!!!

Heat is on! It seems the early fall chill is ” really cold “. Give us 40 degrees in March we would have the windows open!!

Fired it up Sunday morning for about 10 minutes. Just enough to get the chill out of the air. Probably will be on more, soon after this warm spell ends as the FW does alot of babysitting for the grandkids. Some of which are only 4-8 months old.
