Well it used to be harmless football talk anyway. (thread title)
Why so harsh Big G? Its only football! Is it really that personal to you?

I have a feeling we won’t have a patsy next year to pad our records with if this keeps up.

Anyway, we all know and can agree the best 2-2 team and future Super Bowl Champs are…

I know this wasn’t directed at me, but that does sound a bit like you’re taking this all to serious. Maybe this is just the way you talk all the time.
My point is, when making statements like those you’ve made above, the direction of these threads usually deteriorates pretty fast.
Why not try and keep it friendly? No point in hammering somebody over a topic like this!

    TOTALLY agree Joel….

    I guess this….

“Is St Cloud/Isle a suburb of San Francisco? I believe that is the only place this dialect can be deciphered.”

…..posted by a “Site Guardian”…… (whatever that is suppose to be) is where it got “personal” , hence my volley back…

Well I’m glad we got that straightened out……..
I thought your frequent use of the term “Fudgepacker” had a whole different connotation

I was wondering about that since this IS a family-friendly site.

Good thing I was wrong huh?

I’m not the one using the term constantly, so you tell me…..
    It’s YOUR definition that counts…..not mine…

    Noooo Not you….

Ya know G…I’m 100% sure that if we ever met personally we would get along great!

Sitting around the pub’s table talking smack over more that a few longnecks after a long day of fish’in would be interesting for sure

And don’t mistake me for a weenie …I’m an old ,grizzled,can-out-swear-a-sailer truck driver, but I have learned there is a time and place for everything and I just don’t think this “terminology” has a place in this setting….

    That’s why the I don’t give up easily…

    I’m just that way……..

Besides that..My grandson will be reading IDO soon

    All’s cool G

Just checkin’ to make sure it is not only your own lines that you can read between and to see what it is like to be a “DaveB for a day” (trollin’, trollin’, trollin’). I don’t like the feeling and won’t do it again.

BTW…that Site Guardian stuff is still there from FTR days when a few folks donated some cash to keep the lights on the servers. Some of the best cash I ever spent.

I’m also old enough to know better that post on these threads so over and out.

I love longnecks !!! I am old enough to know better too, that all football is , is something to watch when the deer ain’t movin’ and the fish ain’t biting… It may start out as harmless talk, but more times than not, it turns ugly… the last thing I want to do, is turn some young person off from IDO.. they are the future I too will back away from my keyboard on this one and someday, we need to have them longnecks Heck curmudgeon, you better pull up a stool too… you got a monster bite on your first pass trolling… I can’t wait until the Pack plays the Vikes, then we can put this behind us (yeah right ) and talk about fishin’ again I do really love Longnecks.

Man o man, I just about fell off my chair…too bad I was out of town at meetings all day, would have loved to see big G’s face..priceless! I’m glad you guys are all warmed up, let’s bring the real smack-down!

here’s a little something to make us all feel better CHEERLEADERS If you are offended by the sight of NFL cheerleaders don’t open, for me…since the Pack doesn’t have their “own” cheerleaders, I’ll enjoy looking at the other team.

I can attest to the fact that big’G’ makes a great Bloody Mary @ the BigD fishing tournament, along with his fondness for longnecks.

I’m up for the thought of Moss playing in purple again this year, what scares me is that they are trying to work out a long term deal.

Yikes, Randy without a good QB! Sounds like a meltdown. But if they’re all wearing superbowl rings from the year before, so be it!!

Moss without a QB? He did OK w/ such wash ups and pretenders as Randal Cunningham, Jeff George and Dante Culpepper. W/ Adrian Peterson and a strong arm QB, Moss will be fine….as long as his legs dont give out.
