We drafted a lot of speedy players this year and I didn’t think so much could develope by the first game of the season, especially after the dismal pre-season. But this is just the first half against San Diego we still have another half to lose.

    KC 21 SD 7

I don’t get it either. I figured it would be an easy SD win.

Figures you would think that, since you are a Oakland fan. We all know how much love there is between KC and Oakland.

I only watched the first 1/2 last night. What jumped out was the New England influence. Dump the bone headed me, me guys and get some team players in there. Toughness with Vrabel and the steadying professional coaching staff.

    Oh ya………..speed, speed, speed!!

Well Mike, this might be true….possibly….but I just thought kc would be a crappy team. Even as crappy as the chokeland faders. Looks like SD has a run for the division title on their hands…..

Game was in KC, always a tough place to play. All of KC’s points were off of big plays. A punt return, a long TD run and a fumble return to the SD 12 which resulted in a score. SD out gained KC by nearly 2 to 1. Most of the other stats favored SD. If it were not for the weather which was very rainy and windy, I do not believe SD would have lost this game.

Had they out scored Kansas City they also would have won.
I was happy for all the Chiefs fans who had been drinking since God knows when waiting for the game to start.

I just got back from the fine state of Kansas, and I must confess, I was impressed by how they come to represent their team. I never thought the Chiefs had more than 2 fans. Boy-o-boy was I wrong…. It was a sea of red in Kansas City Monday night.

BTW, I was very impressed with Kansas City MO. I look forward to going back there very soon.

2-0 who would have thought, I cannot imagine them winning against the 49ers. The announcers said that today was the first time that the team has won on the road in September since 2007.

    BTW what happened with Minnesota?

I’m just joking, I am not a mean person… I have seen too many starts like that here in KC, so I feel for you guys.

Who shanahan? I know one who coaches the skins in DC.

They sure didn’t lose by much today, surprised a lot of people. They’re still looking strong.

But how bout those Raiders getting their first win over the chargers since 2003? What a day in the NFL….

No they didn’t lose by much, the defense always plays the whole game and have for many years. The defenses only problem is the offence not being able to stay on the field long enough to keep the defense off of the field to rest. The opening kick off was a bone head decision although had it worked I would be talking how it was a smart the choice was.

The Raiders do deserve a pat on the back, beating the Chargers (too long the division leaders in the AFC west) is great. By beating them keeps the Chiefs as two game leaders in the west.

We have been notorious for losing the game after the bye week even though we were playing the Colts I knew we would lose. Heck we would lose if we played KU after the bye week.

Well KC has made the play offs with a San Diego loss tonight against the Bengals. And the icing on the cake is next week when we play the Raiders, win or lose next week we will lose the first game of the play offs.
