I’m taking my boat up North for a week to a resort. What boat cover works best on a boat lift ,snap on or tie down .

My vote would be for the snap on.

Tie down can be used if you get creative to weight it down..think hilex bottles filled with water hung from the tie loops.

If the boat lift has it’s own awning, which most do just skip the cover. Crank it up and you are good to go.

Go to the store and buy a back pack for your electronics, rain gear, misc. stuff. When done fishing for the day grab the back pack, tackle box and rods and carry them to the cabin.

    Safe and easy.

Good luck, have a great time!!

If money is no object ~ I’d go with snap downs

Some resort lifts have covers but most do not from what I have seen. That being said, I would bring the snap on cover. The tie down will be to hard to put on and keep secured.
