I posted earlier today and would be interestd in replacing Moore’s Bait with a Bait Co-Op. Heck, they do it with grocery stores. Why not a community bait shop by the fisherman – for the fisherman.

I think it would be really great if we could get a few guys to work and have other IDO’ers support the bait shop.

We could get Bob to consult and support us with a sale of his tanks. remaining inventory, etc.

I would be willing to front the money – I can’t work at the store but a few days a month. We could probably get back into the same space, better deal.

Let me know if this is of interest to any of you guys

    Just my 2 cents

    Take care!

I think it needs to be in a better spot then his old shop you need to find a old gas station like Minnehaha bait was in so you can pull boat trailers into the lot to get bait and tackle. So if your going to open a shop you to have Bob from Moores bait and Katie and Danny from Minnehaha bait and have work together if your going start a bait and tackle shop. P.S. you need not cater to just cat fisherman like both have tried to do in the past ….

Being a Co-Op, would I be working for bait?

Would this be a regular bait/tackle shop in most regards or something far different?

For some reason I am picturing all of us catching abit and dumping it into a big tub for sorting.

Any more details on how it would work?

If your going to skirt around the advertising fees…you might as well just come out and say what the deal is.

Hmmmmmm if we’re skirtting advertising policies on this thread, I could suggest a “high-end” item to be sold and/or rented from the Fishermen’s Co-Op store
