I had a dream two nights ago and The Vikings were up 35-10 in the middle of the 3rd quarter. The announcers were wondering if The Vikes were going to put in T-Jack in fear of dirty plays since the game is outta hand.

SO,,I guess I have to stick with my dreams.

    Vikes-38

    Aints-24

    Can’t Wait!

Prediction, not sure what the score will be, but the Vikes will be targeting Drew Brees knees. There will be at least 1 brawl and a player from each team ejected.

I agree 100%. Here’s what Brees said recently. Tell me he’s not shaking in his boots!!?? Stressing legal, clean hits,,like 6 times in his quote. He knows what’s coming. He’s scared.

“If you play defense in this league, you love to take a shot at the quarterback, a legal clean shot, albeit, you hit him as hard as you can,” Brees said. “I would expect nothing less from those guys when they try to get a legal, clean shot on me to hit me and hit me hard. It’s just like when Kyle Orton went and tried to tackle James Harrison a couple weeks ago. That guy, he’s fair game. Whenever the quarterback becomes fair game, he’s fair game.

“I don’t think our guys were trying to do that in a dirty way at all when we played them. We did hit Favre and he kept getting back up and slinging it, to his credit. I don’t feel like there’s anything malicious, rather than our guys are playing hard, playing to the whistle, taking clean fair shots, but definitely trying to hit him hard.”

Our offensive line is….well, offensive. Mckinney (sp) is like he’s tied to a post, new center, etc. I think we lose a decent game. 21-17. Maybe revenge in the playoff???

No game prediction other than the home team will win. I am not sure were this one is played. If I was a Viking fan I would be concerned and watch these areas. O-Line, the loss of Chester Taylor, WR depth and missing Rice. At what point does age catch up with the ageless wonder……good luck and good season I am glad to have NFL football back!

I won’t deny the Vikes missed an opportunity last year considering that they were fairly healthy sans maybe Henderson and some others.

I keep having this vision where #4 keeps getting pounded and won’t leave the game.

I hope they are competitive but wouldn’t be suprised if the purple goes down in flames. Anyway, the ravens sure look like they will be good.

All I know is, invited over to a friend’s house to watch the game (he’s from New Orleans) So not only will I be in hostile territory, he’s having fresh gator flown up to barbecue for supper. Believe I’ll take some of Sunday’s Walleye catch along just to make sure there’s something I like to eat…

Looking at this a little closer, Vikings on the road and having three healthy corner backs against Brees and the boys. I’m going with the team formely known as the aints

Looks like the Saints are holding strong at a 5 point favorite in Vegas. Nice to know nobody is expecting the Vikings to win. I like that spot.
