Eating mud bugs is great. I have been to a couple in La. They usually boil potatoes, sweet corn, and ? Throw some newspaper on the picnic table and start peeling. I was told not to eat or suck on the heads by a cajun lady unless you are used to it.
Yeah the heads hold the hot stuff 
makes the beer taste that much better
I’m pretty sure these are not done in a cajun style, otherwise I think it would be totally worth it.
