My sister sent me this in an email this evening. I did some searching for rattle snakes in Kansas and found a couple articles of people transplanting diamond backs in the state, but this is ridiculous.

Has anyone seen this before? I don’t think the snake is 9 feet long, I would say closer to 7 feet. What do you think?

I wouldn’t want to get close enough to find out. That could hurt.

Don’t know how long it is, but there’s no chance it’s 97 pounds. There’s no way duder could be holding out there like he is if it were 97 pounds.

Send her back a classic like the midgets battle lion story. My dad totally fell for that one and it’s my job to never forget it. Or call her up and talk real quiet because there’s a mountain lion on your deck, etc.

Honestly I think it could be close to 9 feet. Say the guy is 6 feet tall. That snake is close to his head in height up. Then it folds back down. Who knows but anyways kinda weird.
