I am in the market to get a different enclosed trailer this fall for hauling my decoys and blinds around. Anyone have opinions on brands??? Torsion VS springs? Keep in mind its a fairly light load with about 12 dozen decoys on average and blinds inside..

I feel that leaf springs offer a more harsh ride but also will give more ground clearance for your trailer. My enclosed trailer and boat trailer both have the torsions, and without a doubt give a better ride. I see less uncontrolled wheel hop with the torsions. As for brand, let your checkbook be your guide, look’m all over and make your best informed decision. I bought a cheapie from Johnson in Colfax and am totally happy with the product. jerr

AND like Jon sez, a “V” tongue, plus have somebody add about another 12″ to the length. I tried to back mine too sharp and had some fixing to do.- -too soon old too late smart jerr

Whatever you get, a “V” front end is a must.

If you can swing it get torsion. they ride better and no low axle to hang up if you drive in fields. We have put Haulmark through the riggers here at work and they are a GREAT trailer. -Mark

I have worked for Redneck Trailer Supplies for 16 years and there is no comparison between torflex and spring, torflex all the way. You have independant suspension for going in and out of field drive ways. There are not the suspension parts to wear out and replace i.e(springs, bushings, equalizers, shackle strap and bolts). You have a little extra cost upfront but savings in long run with worn out suspension parts. Spring axle has a 2 year limited warranty while torflex has a 5 year limited warranty on suspension components. This is just my opinion only!!

Although not the most fancy of all trailers, i like Carry-On. Prices are half of allot of other brands.
