    Nothing I fear worse than the phone ringing at 4:30 in the morning and the voice from the caller ID announcing the call is from your in-law.

    By the time the Favorite Wife answered the phone, I had my pants on and was letting the boys out as I could hear her starting to cry.

    As much as one can prepare, a person just can’t ever get ready for the call you know will be coming.

    The words a son or daughter never wants to hear.

    “Your Mother is gone”.

    The Favorite Wife was very close to my Favorite Mother In Law. One of the most giving people I have ever met.

    You are missed Arlene.
