Rainy River Conditions

With all this rain, does anybody know what the Rainy is like? Did all this rain make it that far north. We are going up Tuesday and don’t know what to expect.

The river is at an average flow right now. Clarity is good. We haven’t had all the rain up here. Cold front moving through today though. Was 90 degrees a few days ago….today’s high is 59. We’ll see how that effects fishing. Fishing has been phenominal out on LOW. Drifting with a spinner & a crawler or downrigging has been the way to go. The deep mud in 30-34′ has been hot. Haven’t heard much on the river. Pike action has been okay, Sturgeon slow. Still too soon for the Walleye action to be heating up

Thanks for the help. We will be targeting sturgeon so hope they decide to fatten up for winter after this cold front. We will be several days behind it so that should help.
