    No that’s a melanistic fawn. From anything I’ve been able to find out online they may have been taken in Maine.

    In the full-size set you can see that his coat goes from milk-chocolate brown to jet black, and it’s not oil. It’s actually the color of his coat due to an overabundance of melanin… same stuff as colors your skin brown in a suntan.

    After seeing these pictures, I’m just seeing deers all over my yard…

    Wait there really are bunch of deers up to no good. Trying to get into the garden. Hopefully the big buck doesn’t come by, he’s the only one that can get into the garden. Wish the laws would just allow me to pot shot them from my porch.
