OK, so the pounding of the Sox started last night and on IDO I hear nothing!! Zilch, zero, not a word!!

Whats up with that? Everybody ignoring them or you figure the Sox will come back and pound them the last 2 games?

Last night was a prime example of the show these guys can put on if you toss an average pitcher out there. Danks in my mind is the only guy they have that they can’t pound on a regular basis.

Just think……..if they sweep this week and next week against the Sox? Sox fans will be jumping off the Sears tower.

Tonight it’s Perkins, be sure to tune in.

I watched the whole game last night. My first of the summer. Boy was the ball flying!! Fun night. I hope we can keep the hot bats going for the remainder of the season. Even with modest pitching, we should be a real contender this year.

It’s hard to believe the twinks lead so many statistics in the majors.

Hopefully we can gain a couple game lead and not look back.

I’ve caught bits a pieces of quite a few games this year, just last night last inning was it Rauch trying to seal the deal, even with a 7 run….nope 6 run lead I was nervous. As pitching goes, so go the Twins.

    Wooooohoooo!!

First place for the first time since July 2nd!!!!

And whether or not they play well the last two games of this series, Chicago has a brutal AL East schedule remaining.

We get Morneau in there and we won’t need pitching!!!

We could get Morneau back, but who cares…I think the odds of him contributing to our success after a concussion (especially one thats been milked like this) are slim to none. Then we’ll be waiting for his next (season ending) injury. Shoulda moved on Adam Dunn if you ask me.

    Ahhhhh that feels better

They got repounded tonight. Great series…they play 3 at Target next week and 3 in Sept. Not a lot of separation between these teams until Morneau comes back. He is our difference maker.

Drove down to the game tonight. Ugh, not the day to go. They pretty much mailed that one in. What happened to Hardy, we need that guy in there!!

Liriano on Thursday, should be a good end to the series.

Nah, just a Twins fan and a fantasy Morneau owner. Just tired of him letting me down in the seasons ladder half.

Man, that’s too bad. I was visiting friends in IL on Sunday- Wed. and we decided to make an inpromptu trip on Tuesday. Boy, was I glad we went that day! The greatest part is I went with Sux fans! Plus all of them sitting around me…It was a fun evening as ball after ball left the yard!!
Now back to all square. Twins will be fine if we get a big lead and don’t have to rely too heavily on the bullpen. Same story with this team as always. Keep middle relief to short stints=do very well. Make them pitch often=buzzkill…

Bad game last night I feel bad for perkins

He wasn’t that bad. It’s tough to look great when there are 5 errors behind you.

Kubel was back in the 4 hole last night with Delmon going back to 7th where he should be.

Weather looks to be touch and go for tonight’s (Friday) game but OK for my first trip to Target Field. (Saturday)

Seems we struggle with Oakland, but maybe we will continue hitting the ball and stay on the current roll!

Just when Hardy gets rolling with the bat he’s out for a couple of games. Kid is a pretty good shortstop and can hit better then Punto. Just need to keep him in the starting line-up.

They say Target field can handle 8″ of rain!! Unfortunately I don’t think they mean per hour.

James, make sure Cheryl brings an umbrella to hold over your head tonight.

The weather was perfect from start to finish. I don’t know how it looked on TV but in person the twins pitching got pounded all night. Most balls went right at someone and I think the A’s still left 13 on base for the night. We came out with the win but it was one of those lucky nights for the home team.

Yep, even TV couldn’t put lipstick on that performance. Gotta take the good with the bad I guess. It’s a win and puts them one game closer to the title.

Duensing VS Cahill, I should have a good one tonight…..hopefully.

Cheryl a baseball fan or just willing to hang out at the game with you? Couldn’t drag my bride to a baseball game glad the weather held for you!

I’m lost now, rarely do I see a twins game, dropped cable tv and they are rarely on local OTA tv, luckily I do have espn’s free text score updates. Sprint used to do it for free, luckily I found out ESPN does it for free too.

And I was thinking it was probably a close one last night

Had a great time on the first trip to Target Field!
Duensing threw a good game, really happy Gardy let him come out and finish it off.

20-30 minutes after it ended the sky’s opened and the wind blew!!

With today’s win and a sweep of the A’s it sets things up nicely for the Whities coming into town this week. Boy if we somehow could sweep them…………….

those last two games were pitched like we needed them to be pitched. The last couple years it seems as if the Twins would play down to the level of the teams they were playing, the A’s seemed to have our number, good to see (so far) that the Twinks have kept the hot streak going. Any chance of getting an IDO outing at the Twins game next year? Or is tuck getting us a deluxe box for the playoffs?

An IDO outing at a Twins game next summer sounds like a blast. I love the idea!

Chomps, can I use YOUR first born to seal the deal? They don’t want mine!!!

Tough to get tix for that joint! Maybe for 2012!

We could probably get the Budweiser Deck for an IDO event!

The party deck is fine if you just want to hang out. It stinks for trying to watch the game.

Party Deck would be fun! Maybe not the best sight lines, but I watch most games on TV anyway.

James, I’m a season ticket holder, do you want me to see how soon it can be reserved?

Thought I’d bump this back to the top. They’re on a 3-game skid and could use some good karma. Let’s hope it starts here!

Seems to me every time IDO has a good Twins post going, they string together some wins.

    Let’s Go Twins!!
