I have a trip planned to norway lake near Spicer MN and was wondering if any one knew what speicies to target or what the lake is good for. Any help would be apreciated.

We have a cabin on Games Lake, which is connected to Norway via a channel. Norway can be a great lake. There are some really nice pike. Walleye action can be good (not my thing, but my bro-in-law does alright). Bass action is okay at times. Sunnies and crappies are good if you can find them–I don’t fish pannies much. When are you going? Action has been slow as of late.

There’s lots of water. Great lake to explore.

I’m headed there in a few hours If you see me in an older 16′ Sylvan (blue/red) with a Merc 60 tiller on it, say hi!

My two biggest pike (38″ and 35″) both came lindy-rigging for eyes in about 14′ of water. I’ve caught several other low-30s on swim jigs and spinnerbaits on outer weed edges.

Good luck! Hope the fishing picks up this weekend!!!
