Not sure what that means on the ruler but it is not anything close to the common name. Keep guessing!

It has to be the “Pancake Fish” looks just like when you pour in the batter and it drips a little extra and makes the tail.

Pancake Batfish it is! Looks like a tie between Starkj25 and Dream’n. You two send me a pm with the product you would like to try (see them all at http://www.sturdiwheat.com) and the address you would like it shipped to. Thanks for playing and stay tunned for the next question

Not only was it cool of you guys to stop over the give us our own trivia, but it was extremely cool of you to so creatively merge our “thing” (fish, duh) and your “thing” (heh, yeah, pancakes) into a trivia question that stumped half the board anyway.

    Impressive.

Looking back at all the guesses, I think Fireash should get pancakes too. That was the first complete “pancake batfish” guessed. So Fireash send me a pm with your address and the product you would like to try and we will drop it in the mail. Nice job everyone!

Three winners!? I haven’t seen THAT on Facebook!

    Question Missi:

I have a cast iron griddle that fits over two burners. Normally my first pancakes turn out a little on the light side. Those are mine.

Last night we had pancakes and I wanted to ensure this didn’t happen, so I turned up the heat and waited a bit longer to pour the mix on the griddle.

I don’t think they were burnt, but the Favorite Wife said they were terrible. Just because there was a little black on them…jesh.

How does a person tell when the griddle is the “right” temp?

BK, put your hand on it,& lean hard.If you blister in less than 5 seconds….too hot. Turn down heat and recalculate with other hand.

LOL. You two are so cute together.

BK, have you tried flicking a drop of water on the griddle? If it balls up and dances instead of spreading out and evaporating, the griddle’s hot enough. That’s how I always tested it.

Yeah, we’re a regular Laural and Hardy.

I did that last night. The little ball of water was doing the Macarena and they burnt.

Well that’s your problem right there. They should seperate into multiple balls and form a conga line.
