Hypocrisy at its finest–Rant

Pardon me as I rant to others who may feel the same way…Today as I was going to lunch, I looked up at the DNR truck pulling the boat in front of me and you guessed it…vegetation hanging from the trailer. I go out of my way to take vegetation off my boat, drain the live well, pull the plug, blah, blah, blah… I guess the department that enforces the rule doesn’t have to follow it …

I couldn’t tell… Still a little PO’d about the whole thing. Just need to take a breath

take a picture and send it into the dnr……assuming most cell phones have camera’s now days.

Maybe he was the “Don’t be this guy” guy and they were secretly taping a commercial in a following vehicle.

Maybe he was on a emergency call… that somebody was operating a boat without a working stern light… and could not stop to clean it off….

We took down the license plate number, the boat number, and my buddy called the DNR. He was routed to a voicemail system…surprise

Actually didn’t have my phone with… I really wanted to.

i’m clad to here that, to many people just blow it off.

Me too- -I been on a rant about this very thing ever since they started having those interns (kids) inspecting boats at the landings. I won’t even let’m close to it, I tell’m that until we all play by the same rules they can forget inspecting my boat. I’m not taking it out on the poor kid, just trying to put it in a manner that hopefully the msg will get relayed. jerr
