Thinking about a trip up there over labor day. Any suggestions on resorts or location? Everett’s or Pike Bay? Would be mostly interested in smallmouth with a mix in of walleye and maybe some pike.

We have a tow behind camper we can use too so that opens up a few more options I would think.

I stayed at McKinnley Park last year on Labor Day wkd. Good area, also near there is Hoodoo Point Campground which is nice also. I can’t speak too much for resorts though.

I’ve stayed at Life O Riley on the west end for years. Good walleye panfish, smallies, and pike in Norwegian bay.

I really like the state forrest campground on Wake Em Up Bay its cheap and nice. Good beach, boat landing and pretty close to Cook in case you need anything. The camp hosts really keep the place up nicely.

i would say stay at the casino but then u would be supporting the native americans so i would go with one of the other suggestions given. we are going on family vacation up there and last year we stayed at the casino but this year i WILL NOT support the indians. i hope u all do the same haha

There are many resorts to choose from up there depending on how much you want to spend.
My family and I have been going to Muskeego Point Resort for many years.
    They are on wakemup narrows.

I stayed at Pike Bay last summer and liked it a lot. It’s a little bit of a run to get out onto the main lake, but I think it was worth it.

Bayview is under new ownership. It is in a great location and has a nice restaurant and bar on site.

I havent stayed there with the new people, but it might be worth a shot.
