Anybody know when it will reopen? Went down there today to do some fishing and it was blocked off. Not to be discouraged, we went over to Prior only to find the launch completely packed. Went over to Spring, same thing, even the overflow was full. So 2-1/2 hours after leaving home, I was back home while never having put the boat in the water.

Nevermind, just found it on the Savage newspaper. Reopens Aug. 15. Bummer. Sounds like it will be nice when it’s done though.
Well if it makes you feel better you confirmed my suspicions that it was probably impossible to get on the water 
For future reference, I have a ramp that has my name on it at Everts. I normally leave my truck/trailer parked on it while fishing. BK looks strangely similar to the handicapped sign.
In 2.5 hours you could have been fishing with at least an hour to spare.
my brother in law was in his truck with his boat so we spent a good bit of time complaining and trying to figure out where to try next. Although the road construction all around upper prior made travel a bit slower too. It pained me to waste almost a half tank of fuel with the boat hooked up only to find the ramps all full.
As for the Croix, I’ve never taken my boat out there, or on the Miss. I’m still too intimidated. Maybe once I ride with some guys that do it all the time, I’ll give it a go but I haven’t got the nerve just yet.
We drove by Eagle lake in Maple Grove on the way to pick up my daughter and even that was packed. Just a nice day to be on the water I guess, lots of rec traffic and it was my own fault for being hungover and sleeping in til 8. Normally I’m on the water before 8.
