Lake Michigan – Question

    I’m going to be in Milwaukee two nights next week and three nights the following week, with significant downtime in the afternoon/evening.
    What are my chances of getting on a salmon boat as a single? Does anyone know a good captain in that area I could talk to?

    I would suggest calling Eric Haataja and see if the harbor mouth Salmon jig bite has started yet? I think August is the prime month but its worth checking out with Eric wtih these warm temps. http://www.wibigfish.com/

    Call Randy ASAP. I haven’t fished with him personally but he was MORE than helpful when I made a couple trips to the lake, he put us on some areas that were amazing, I can only imagine what fish we would have caught if we were fishing with him and not 3 rednecks in a tiny boat!
