After 15 years, nearly 20 trips to Canada, endless days on the river, the pond, and the lakes of northern Minnesota by boat’s interior and exterior was in really — really rough shape.

My project started about 2 years ago after seeing BrianK’s winter boat refresher project — his work inspired me to take on replacing and repairing my boat. I had an additional thought at the time which was “I really want a vinyl floor because vacuuming carpet stinks!)

Here is the list of new items….

• Marine Grade Epoxy Sealed 2 Plywood Floor & Casting Deck w/Access Covers
• Custom Interior Gunwales w/Storage & Lighting
• Custom 1-Piece Carpet Casting Deck w/Vinyl Pads & Storage
• Custom Vinyl & Carpet Consoles
• All New Chrome Hardware
• All New & Additional LED Lighting (Boat & Trailer)
• Attwood Centric II Suspension Seats
• Additional Trolling Battery & New Trolling Wiring w/Plug Upgrade
• Speakers & Head Unit w/iPod & Satellite
• Custom Wrap by BT Design (Graphics by Me)

It was waaaaay more work than I thought — but I’m thrilled with the result. My little ’95 Trophy I love so much is back in business and as peeerty as ever.

Because I never said it before, thanks BrianK for the inspiration.

I’ll post a few more pics as well (below)

Awesome work!!! I’d love to see more pictures. This is the type of project I’d love to get into but I just don’t have the time right now. I can see where the hard work pays off though. Congrats on your newly revived rig.

The interior used to be red…

This is it “pre-flames” over the 4th…

The boat isn’t just gray… it’s carbon fiber!

And here is a pic of the original (Years ago)…

Great looking work. Every time I do a boat I’m always glad it is over and sad it is over as I get such a kick out of it. You are really going to enjoy this.

Very good job. I really like that style of a boat too. I can see why you spent the time.

Very Nice.. Congratulations

Is that a custom made decal on the side, or did you have it painted.

Thanks to all for the nice comments — me and my family hope to enjoy it for a long time! (I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out too!)

I got the marine plywood at Scherer Brothers in Hopkins (952) 938-2741 / http://www.schererbros.com
