It’s being reported on KSTP that ex-Viking coach Denny Green has been arrested on child porn charges among others.

While I don’t know the story to be true it would seem to explain why he is being kept out of the NFL these years. (Beyond the arrogance that is)

I’m sure much more information will soon be available.

Story I saw was that it was Denny’s son that was arrested.

(NewsCore) – An NFL analyst who writes for ESPN was in custody Friday after being arrested on child porn charges, the Hartford Courant reported.

Jeremy Green, 38, of Southington, Conn., was charged Thursday night with first degree possession of child pornography and possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, according to a press release from the Southington police.

He was in custody on $750,000 cash bail.

Police did not give out information about the crime or about the investigation because the warrant was sealed, the Courant reported.

A former NFL scout, Green listed his occupation on police records as “NFL analyst,” police said. He is a contributing writer for ESPN.com, where he answers NFL questions from web readers, ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys told the newspaper, declining further comment.

Green’s father, Dennis Green, was a head coach for the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals.

Didn’t he work for the NFL Network?
