Big Chip Resort

Since my clan cant get enough time off of work this year to head to Canada I was looking into trying the Chippewa Flowage. I am looking for a resort on the lake who offers a guide service. nothing to fancy at all. Any advice or places you have tried. Also probably going on labor day weekend. Thanks for any help.

There are tons of them here. I’ve not stayed at any because my cabin is up there.

thanks for the help. I forgot to mention that we will be mostly walleye fishing and bringing our own boats.

Check at the boat landing as the bag rules change frequently up there. Lac Courte Oreilles is known for its walleye fishing. Get off the beaten path on the chip and fish the river channel edges is normally a good tactic. Good luck.
