    im shopping around for insurance dose anyone know if most full cov insurance covers a boat in tow and what if the boat for some reason comes off the trailer or something like that

    Most insurance companies would cover LIABILITY in case of an accident. They will not generally cover the boat from damage unless you have bought specific coverage on the boat.

    That’s probably not what you wanted to hear.
