Here’s a link to a story in the Albert Lea Tribune . The DNR opened Albert Lea Lake up to liberialzed fishing a couple days ago. my dad that lives there said the fish are thick in the channel between Albert Lea and Fountain lakes. The vast majority of the fish are carp, but there are lots of walleyes, pike, perch, etc as well. My dad said people were literally filling trucks with fish. Has anyone heard of any other lakes starting to go through the same thing?
