This report was passed along to me from a LBDN guide from the Escanaba area. The way the guy is “back posing” bothered me a little, but any way you look at it this is one big walleye. Jim Lafond’s brother Robin caught a whale of a walleye this morning on one of Jim’s handmade lures. Jim has been doing quite well with them this season. It is a nifty little spoon with a hook at each end, and incredible action when tipped with just half a minnow on just one of the hooks. Ken Lee, Gladstone Guide, managed to get a quick picture before the boys headed out on the ice again this afternoon. Robin, congratulations on the catch of a lifetime…….
