??? about a Yamaha F75

My 04 Yamaha 75 four stroke was taken to a local dealer last fall, and was told that I would like a tune up, Plugs fuel filter so on and so forth. Well last fall it had a bit of a miss in the mid range RPMS, and I thought that would take care of it. So I was told that it would cost about $125, I didn’t think that was bad. So when I went to pick it up he told my the bill came to $547. Well I was not happy to say the least, but He did things that where needed, and I was not plainning on that much but if it needed OK, But not happy. So I have had the boat on the water 1/2 dozen times this year, and the miss in the mid range RPM’s are worst than ever, Any ideas on things I can do myself, I have cleaned all the filters. It has fresh gas and sta-bil in it, I would really like to adviod any dealers if I can. Thanks for the help.

You paid $547 to that repair shop to fix a miss at those rpm ranges. it is still having the same issue.

Bring it back and make them fix it. It is hard to say what is happening, but a good yamaha mechanic should beable to take care of it for you.
