Lowrance H20c – no GS under 1.0 mph??

Is there a way to set an H20c to update it’s position faster? Mine will not display any speed under 1.0 and when you are traveling that slow the direction arrow isn’t accurate. My Lowrance 332c will display speeds as low as 0.3 mph.

same problem here. if you change the setting for updating the map from Auto to timed, it will update your location more accurately on the map. but i have yet to find a way to show slower speeds.

also, if you change the map setting, it will fill up your “trackpoints” faster, and with the default setting of 2000 trackpoints per route, you will notice it deleting the beginning of your path to allow trackpoints to be used at the end of the path.

Thanks perch, I’ll give it a try, anyone else have any ideas? I’m thinking the H20 is an inferior unit is just never going to be as good as the 332c.

I’m pretty sure there’s no remedy for this. Mine does it, and every one i’ve used is the same way.
