    Earlier I was having some problems with my Lowrance units and I received a lot of help from Dan. He even sent me some parts to try out and see if that fixed my problems. I didn’t get to it right away and then my computer hard drive crashed and I lost everything including all my contacts and bookmarked sites. I had no way of returning his parts or saying a final thank you so I have been posting messages on numerous message boards trying to find him.     I never did get the helm unit GPS working however now I don’t have to worry about it I guess. Approx. 2-2.5 weeks ago, someone stole both the bow unit and the helm unit so now I don’t have any Lowrance units to worry about. They were even kind enough to take 6 rods and 7 tackle trays full of lures to make sure I didn’t spend too much time fishing this spring/early summer. Now I have to run the insurance gauntlet and maybe by fall, I can get fishing again. What a way to start out the season.
