If you’re going to mount it, why bother have it sitting in a tub of water?

Young kids – out fishing and having fun. They broke no laws. Good for them.

It’s a good thing you didn’t have sound

The thing that gets me is the story line “huge” …
    Yes a 48+ is a BIG fish,but I save the word huge for 60+

I don’t think anyone is throwing them under the bus. I haven’t read any rabid responses. Still we all are entitled to an opinion.

Nope, no one is being thrown under any bus.

But it is to the point where anybody that keeps a nice fish of any species generally gets painted in a bad light…….

I say congrats to the young men – and I hope they get a LOT of good mileage out of their fishing tale.

It’s the media M. Shark. Always sensationalize.

That is correct. No laws broken and good for them, they’ll remember that fish for a long time…even more so with the publicity around it.

I guess I was thinking about the fun others could have catching it.

I’m certainly not against catching and keeping fish. Although large fish being kept always gives me a little tweak in my stomach.

Believe it or not even large walleyes.
