Is it worth trying to find brown trout in Green Bay during the first week of July? Salmon, steelhead, splake? I assume they can be found near the thermocline. Approximately what depth for this time of the year. Any help appreciated.
depends on where you are. if you are on the bay side, you will run into more trout, on the lake side salmon. the lake side fish should be reacting to temperature now, looking for cooler water. no way to predict it. depends on weather conditions. stuff gets all riled up and the fish disperse, then it stabilizes and the fish come back to one place until the next storm. listen to the chatter and watch your graph…
