It has been a few years since I made this tourney. If I can find a boat and remember how to fish, I may try and make it this year. It has always been a good time

Right now, the Iowegian is scheduled to appear. Not sure about the status of his headache…

Too bad Mike can’t make it this year. I may have to make up a bunch of masks to wear..

We’re just a week away! Even with the higher than normal water, the fishing’s been great(except for last night). If you’re not sure you want to fish because pool 7 is new to you, don’t worry, I’ll be more than happy to help put you on fish.

We’re planning on having a ton of food and beverages after the weigh-in, so feel free to show up and have a great time.

I’m supposed to fish with Gutone4me. That usually means our only game plan is to stay out of jail. When you’re with him, that’s a challenge in it’s own.

Stay out of jail or stay in the boat….I’m guessing either will be a flip of the coin.

Tomorrow’s the big day! If you want to fish, be at the Dresbach Landing IN THE TOWN OF DRESBACH at 5:30am. the take-off will be at 6am.

The fish are biting well, and we should see some nice fish tomorrow.

Good luck to everyone who plans to attend. Should be an awesome day.

Thank you Donaldson family for Hosting yet another great event. The hot dogs and Venison barbeque was awesome and all the homemade deserts put the icing on the cake

Congrats to the top winners in all the different categories Even with the water conditions there were a lot of fish being caught. There were nice panfish, Rough fish, Bass and Pike weighed in not to mention the monster sauger that took first in the sauger/walleye category. Great catch Blue

If you have not done the Donaldson Tournament you need to keep it in mind for next year. It is a great time meeting and making friends and with all the different categories everyone has a chance at taking home a little ching.

Thanks again for a great day of angler fellowship

Maybe next year I will be smart enough to weigh in my winning panfish thats two years in a row. Great tournament and great food. My son Jacob is all pumped up about the anchors and wants to thank Bret for giving him his. See you in the morning at sticker land Blue.

I’m glad he can use the anchor. Tom Sr. makes a nice anchor. Putting a grin on a kids face is what it’s all about. Kudos to you for getting your son involved

Next year I’ll meet you boat side and put the pressure on you to get your fish weighed, unless it is something bigger than what I bring in

Well, I finally got back in here to make wrap-up(of sorts).

I want to thank everyone who came and fished with us. My only wish was that the weather was better. But, we can’t have sunny and 80 degrees all the time.

Sadly, I don’t have any pics. By the time Jeremy and I arrived at the landing, most of the fish had already been weighed in.

I can, however, tell you the ballpark weights for most of the categories.

    Panfish .40 lbs
    Roughfish 8lbs
    Bass 3.85lbs
    Northern Pike 11.5lbs
    Whitebass 1.5lbs
Walleye/Sauger .97lbs. Yeah you read the right….. . 97lbs Jeremy and I weighed in a small Sauger to win the category. I still can’t stop laughing about that…

The after tourney party was fun as well.

I can’t wait to do this again.
