The Alma Fishing Float or Barge

    Has anyone fished off of this and if so what do you catch how many and was it fun and worth the $15.00 bucks they charge???

    I can’t tell you much about the Alma float but I do know they catch about every species that swims in the river at Genoa. The only way to find out if it is worth it is to give it a try.

    I will admit I am a repeat customer to the Alma float for a long time since I was a kid I have been going. Not only is it fun but you just never know what your going to catch and I have seen some big fish come off the float. Species I have seen caught and have caught there include northern, bass (large and small mouth), bluegills, crappie, sauger, walleye, catfish, carp, drum, and white bass.

    It is a good time and as stated above you can catch anything.Bring your own bait and lunch or get it right there. Burger baskets were great. Get there early and stay late.
