Chris Tuckner Update

    Chris asked me to keep everyone updated on IDO about his surgery today:

    The procedure to remove his tumor was started just after 12 noon and the update I received just after 2PM is they were removing the tumor and everything was going very well.

    —

    3:55 PM – still removing the tumor and everything is still going good.

    —

    6:25 PM – they are closing up and waiting 2 hear from his surgeon.

    —

    8:25 PM (from Chris’s son Ben) Doctor came out…everythings good…surgery went good. MRI tomorrow AM. He was awake so great news!

    —

    9:55 PM (from Ben again) -Dad is still awake we get to see him in 20…the nurse said he’s talking about the twins game!

    —

    10:25 PM (best update yet!!!) – Dad is doing amazing….making jokes and everything they thought he would be in ICU for 3 days and the nurse said he will be in a actuall room tomorrow

    Who says the power of prayers doesn’t work??!!!

    Thanks to all here who are sending prayers and keeping Chris in your thoughts. I will continue to post as I know more.

    Please pass on to Chris that all of us at The Red Door are praying for his speedy recovery. Tell him we hope to see him back on the Wealthwood Shores very soon.

    Did anyone really doubt he would pull through this? He’s just itchin to get back on the water!!!!
    Great Job Chris. You are definitely in out thoughts and prayers. We’re all out catchin fish for ya. You better hurry up and recover or they’ll be all gone!!!

    Truly amazing and the praise belongs to God!!!!! I think we have proved time and again that the old river rats are a hardy breed and Chris is doing us proud
